This course will examine the power of storytelling in its various forms. We’re going to “read” a diverse breadth of texts—short stories, memoirs, reportage, performances, essays, podcasts, and music videos, among others. Then we will spend the semester considering how truth is communicated and/or falsehood perpetuated through different narrative structures.
